Nephrotic syndrome is a collection of symptoms due to kidney damage, it may causesed by many kinds of diseases.

The clinical manifestations are massive proteinuria, hypoproteinemia, high edema and hyperlipidemia. The patient feels tired, occurs edema, and sometimes weight loss. The common causes of nephrotic syndrome are diabetic nephritis, Henoch-Schonlein purpura nephritis, systemic lupus erythematosus nephritis, hepatitis B virus-associated nephritis and so on.
